The nearest airports are Almeria (40mins drive), Murcia (one and a quarter hours) and Alicante (two hours). Almeria and Murcia are linked by the E15 (Autovia del Mediterraneo) highway. A new motorway extension of the E15 from Cartagena in Murcia to exit 534 at Vera is expected to be completed by 2007. This means transfer time from Alicante and Murcia airports will be reduced substantially.
Airport pickups can be arranged independently at reasonable rates, however, we recommend that you hire a car (available at both airports) to give you total freedom and flexibility to explore the Almeria coastline and national parks. From Almeria airport
E15 towards Murcia. After about 30 minutes take exit 534 to Vera. Follow signs for Vera until you see signs to Villaricos. Follow Villaricos until you see Al Andalus Thalassa, located left off of a roundabout.
From Murcia airport
