Almeria offers fantastic golden sandy beaches, picturesque national parks,rugged mountainous scenery and towns and villages which retain a Spanish way of life and authentic charm. Here you will find culture, tradition, superb cuisine, true relaxation an un-crowded beaches, even in peak season ! The Almeria area is subject to strict planning laws and is therefore free of high rise buildings, commercial bustle and over-development seen in some other areas of Spain. However, golfers should note that development of local golf courses has not been restricted and Al Andalus Thalassa affords easy access to the best course in the area. So whether you are young or mature, searching for a family beach holiday, a golf or walking break, or simply looking to get away from it all, an Almeria holiday offers something for everyone- even skiing in the Sierra Nevada mountains and the largest naturist resort in Spain !
The Resort
The andalucian style apartments of Al Andalus Thalassa are built and furnished to a high standard. Different residential areas are separated by beautiful walkways and foutains. There are two large communal pools and a seperate children's splash pool surrounded by large landscaped areas with palm trees. Al Andalus Thalassa is suitable for both summer and winter breaks as it boasts an indoor spa and fitness centre with heated pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and hydro -massage showers. Other facilities include a floodlit tennis court, paddle tennis courts and children's play areas.The gated complex ( residents & guests only ) is child friendly and safe. Parking is in a designated space outside the apartment

Our top floor (2nd floor) apartment has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large terracre fully fitted with everything you will need to have a great relaxing hoiliday.
Climate
The Almeria coast is said to have a perfect climate and boasts the best all-year-round weather in the whole of Spain. Bordering the Tabernas Desert and warmed by the Mediterranean Sea, Almeria enjoys average summer temperatures of 25 Celsius, although you can expect plenty of weeks in the 30s and 40s between May and October, endless cloudless days and up to 320 days of sunshine every year. Protected by the towering Sierra Nevada mountain range, the region is an ideal destination to escape the British winter with average temperatures of 12 Celsius and little rainfall. Yes, the winter weather is often typical of an English summers day!! The sea is particularly pleasant in the high season - actually a few degrees warmer than the Costa Del Sol!
